About the IPDP
The Integrated Provincial Development Plan 2023-2027 aims to enhance economic growth, infrastructure development, and service delivery in Milne Bay Province. This plan is aligned with Vision 2050, PNGDSP 2030, and MTDP IV.
Alignment with National Policies
The Milne Bay Provincial Development Plan (IPDP) 2023-2027 is strategically aligned with Papua New Guinea’s national development frameworks, ensuring consistency with the country’s long-term vision and objectives.
1. Vision 2050
The plan supports Vision 2050’s core objective of making Papua New Guinea a "Smart, Wise, Fair, Healthy, and Happy Society" by focusing on:
- Economic Empowerment: Strengthening agriculture, tourism, and fisheries as key economic drivers.
- Human Development: Investing in education, healthcare, and social welfare programs.
